Fäviken Game Fair is influenced by the original British Game Fair, but we have tried to make Fäviken Game Fair an exhibition based on local people, companies and products. Fäviken Game Fair takes place at Fäviken Estate, located in the landscape of Jämtland in the northern part of Sweden. The estate is beautifully surrounded with the mountain called Åreskutan and the great lake Kallsjön as the closest neighbours.  Fäviken Game Fair offers a lot of activities regarding hunting, fishing, shooting, dogs and horses. The exhibition is completed by the fact that visitors will find activities that attracts the whole family. We have an area only for children called Mini Game Fair where children can play and learn about hunting and fishing and try horseback riding etc. The philosophy of Fäviken Game Fair is to create possibilities for people to meet and interact with leading “actors” specialized in their area of expertise along with organizations in the hunting, fishing, dog, horse and shooting fields. Fäviken Game Fair is not only an exhibition during daytime; it is also a festival in the evenings with traditional dance in the old barn, music entertainment with different artists and of course lovely food and beverages. Fäviken Game Fair took place on 24-26 of July 2009. Welcome next year to Fäviken Estate and Fäviken Game Fair 2010!
